Have you thought about participating with Operation Christmas Child?  It’s a simple way of helping make a child’s Christmas a little better and letting them hear the good news of Christ.  There are still a few days left to assemble your shoebox(es).  Visit Samaritan’s Purse for details and help bring a smile to a distant child this year!

radiOpio (youth radio)

I came across this article today and thought it was really cool.  The Paia Youth & Cultural Center is reaching and connecting their area’s young people in quite a unique way with their low power FM community radio in Maui, Hawaii.  Imagine the possibilities if more LPFM stations like KOPO-LP were on today’s radio landscape.

And while we’re on the subject of youth and radio, take a visit over to The HopeLine (for teens) and His Kids Radio (for children).  And for information on setting up your own LPFM station, get in touch with the people over at Christian Community Broadcasters and the Promethius Project.
